The generous contributions of our supporters help us create new community service programs, enhance and expand services and resources we offer and provide financial support for students. We have three priority areas for you to choose from when deciding on your donation to CGCE.
The Alex Trebek Innovation and Challenge Fund
This fund match dollar for dollar funds raised by the Centre up to $100,000 per year over the next three years. The fund seeks to identify, develop and apply promising approaches to pressing social and development issues in Canada and around the world.
CGCE Operating and Program Fund
Gifts to the CGCE Operating and Programs Fund will be used to continue to support the general operation and programming needs of the Centre, allowing us to provide services and resources to students, faculty, staff and Community Partners.
Community Service Learning Fund
Each year, the Community Service Learning program awards several grants. Your support allows us to continue to fund projects or initiatives. Proposed projects must connect a university course with the broader community in a way that reflects experiential learning objectives. A report on the results achieved is required when a project is completed. Each year a summary report is prepared and made available to donors who have helped us by supporting the Fund. Aeroplan’s Charitable Pooling Program
Here’s your chance to do something truly rewarding—and incredibly easy. You can now donate Aeroplan Miles to the Centre for Global and Community Engagement. Donated Aeroplan Miles will be used to assist uOttawa students with travel to locations all around the world to engage in meaningful community service.
