Alternative Student Breaks program

The Centre is planning to set up an Alternative Student Breaks program. We hope to start offering opportunities for the 2011-2012 academic year.  This program will enable students to get involved with local and international communities through "hands on" experience during academic breaks and promote community engagement, active citizenship and life-long learning.  These short-term programs can be transformational for students and advisors.  Learning objectives will be set for each placement.
If you are a Community Partner and have an idea to suggest for an alternative student break, contact us.

We raise awareness of volunteer opportunities offered through faculties, departments, student clubs or Community Partners.
